Mob Blog: Monday Morning, October 8, 2012
[dcs_p]Monday morning, and I’m planning a normal week. I have a meet up in Orlando, and Victor and I are getting ready to hit the turnpike when my cousin, Anthony, calls. He’s having an issue with a reluctant investor, a man who has a lot to be thankful for. The guy owes me, big time. But Anthony tells me the job I got the man at the state capital in Baton Rouge has gone to his head. He thinks he’s untouchable, claims he doesn’t have to pay his dues. Now, I’m pissed. I tell Victor, “Cancel the meet. We’re going to New Orleans.”[/dcs_p]Patricia Bellomo is the author of the crime thrillers Louie Morelli’s Daughter and Stella di Mare.
