Temptation On My Terrace, March 10, 2012
[dcs_p]This morning I head outside for my morning swim. It’s looking pretty gray here in Delray Beach, and it’s rained on and off throughout the night. I can hear the surf roaring, but as soon as I step onto my terrace, I see a blond sitting poolside. Her long hair is whipping in the wind, and she’s wearing a black bikini. She’s got a shape like the female volleyball players I see on ESPN. I notice this first, before she turns and smiles. “Hi,” she says, “I’m Ingrid.”[/dcs_p]Ingrid has just the faintest trace of an accent. If I had to guess–and I am–I’d say she’s twenty-one, tops. I’m tempted to ask if she’s at the wrong house when she hastens to inform me she’s Isabella’s new nanny. Hmm. Since Stella and Isabella are practically living with us now, this could be interesting. Not that I would ever fool with a girl this young, and certainly not in my own home, but she makes for some nice scenery.[/dcs_p][dcs_p]Temptation On My Terrace is written in the voice of Patricia Bellomo’s main character, mobster Louie Morelli.[/dcs_p][dcs_p]Bellomo’s books available at Amazon.com & B&N. In digital and print formats.
